Yeah it's because they won't have jobs if Obama wins.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20894836

What part of retired is lost on you?
 Quoting: Lady Jane Smith

Lady Jane, perhaps the current Public School (non)Education curriculum does not include the vocabulary words "retire" or "retirement" because, under Obama's NWO plans, there will BE no "retirement". They will want you to work in their sweatshops until you drop dead on the floor, after which the "benevolent" government will bury your corpse.

In a ditch, along with all the other slaves who died that day.

Their attitude is, "The peons won't miss what they never had or knew about to begin with".
"I have come to the conclusion that all news should be treated like 9/11, assume it is a psyop with actors participating in a staged event complete with props, until proven otherwise, in which case assume whatever is being recorded, reported, televised, is distortions/lying by omission/outright lies, until proven otherwise." - Anonymous, 4-13-12

Sounds like these life long military puppets believe Romney will be good for business. Great, more killing. Just what the world needs.
 Quoting: Hollow Bones

What is the matter with you people? As if BHO did not put us in a new war, as if Romney needs the $$ (he is a successful businessman).

Life long military puppets? You would be surprised to learn that men and women who have served in the military do so to secure your freedom. Ask the people in Europe who were freed from concentration camps. You make me sick.

Enjoy your Kool Aid.. you will cry when the Chinese invade without those "life long military puppets". What's the matter? Are you severely obese and unfit for military service?
 Quoting: Peaceplz

The men and women who serve in the military do it for the paycheck and benefits.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26957116

1. don't we all work for the paycheck and benefits?
2. Are you suggesting that is wrong?
3. I doubt putting oneself in harms way is just about money.

Five hundred retired generals and admirals are running an ad in Monday's editions of The Washington Times calling on the country to elect Republican Mitt Romney on Tuesday.

.... who paid for the ad themselves

Could be that they are concerned with the fact that our constitution is being eroded! They swore to protect and defend it.
 Quoting: calin

This is very true, and they are what we might consider the "Old Guard". The more recent Military personnel seem to be more concerned with the future "benefits" being dangled in front of their noses (benefits which, by the way, will be severely curtailed should Obama gain another term in office) and the fact that during a time of nationwide unemployment they are able to be fed, clothed, and earn a paycheck.

One thing which I find very curious is the timing of this news item. WHY did they wait until the day before the election before publishing it? It comes really too late to influence the election, since half of the voters have already voted early or cast their absentee ballots. It seems to me that it would have made more of an impression if it had been published a week or two ago. Considering that these men's careers have been all about timing, knowing that timing can make all the difference between victory and defeat, it's almost like someone deliberately "dropped the ball" on this.

I guess these RETIRED admirals and generals won't be walking point or digging up land mines when we march into Iran, since they're RETIRED and all.

But they WILL be collecting those nice fat pensions, while they cheer our boys on from the Retired Officers Club down at the golf course.

Exactly thats what i`m talking about, Obama is the planmaker and those plans involve lots of Middle East Blood nowadays...

Romney is a rich guy, he is patriotic, he loves his country and he does not even think about a war, all he wants is the economy back on its tracks.

Obama destroyed the dollar with bernanke and now to keep it going he needs to drill the OIL in the middle east by starting a proxy war with israel against iran/syria.

Thats why they are allowing al qaeda in syria as FREE SYRIAN ARMY...

Come on Obama is using al qaeda in syria, just like using OSAMA BIN LADEN in AFGHANISTAN AGAINST RUSSIA.

Obama is the real culprit here.

More federalized police equals more do nothing UNIONIZED gubbermint jobs with nice fat juicy pensions.

Of course, Romney will be building up the Homeland Gestapo, just like Obama would, if he gets (s)elected by the Bilderberg group

Because they are attempting to fire one idiot and then replace with another idiot.

The act of voting only binds you to a contract that allows them to do anything they want to a US citizen. A US Citizen is nothing but a slave who has like a lamb agreed to a contract that names you as an enemy(Trading w Enemy Act). Citizen = Taxpayer = Contract = Administrative law = Citizens cannot win = Voluntary Enslavement because you voted for it.

So... if we have this many retired Brass and such voting for and thus encouraging others to do the same... then YES... I stand by my previous statement... FOOLS.

Talk about the biggest dumbest, fakest, most illegally criminal scam in the universe.

You all believe you pic someone who hates you and spends all their time and energy and focus on serving their own agenda, and killing off your family.

Meanwhile, someone else is preaching to wake up, and focus on the fact that each and every last one of you was secretely robbed by a gang organization in the past and doesn't own anything or truly have one bit of financial or political freedom.

You're all entranced, and tricked by the props that keep popping up from management to trick you into believing in the play.

Nothing will change.

Except that you will become more enslaved, and more delirious.
