Before the Statue of Mary survived Sandy, was this a warning from Heaven before it happened?

It would be impossible to have known to take a photo of this dead tree in the midst of living trees 12 weeks before hurricane Sandy hit. In the first photo we see the image of the Virgin Mary facing towards the Hudson River kneeling before the cross, and the cross which has the face of Christ upon it is also facing the Hudson River. Both Mary and Christ on the Cross are facing the Hudson River. Divine intervention was warning us of a pending tragedy, and we now see the massive amounts of destruction that came from water throughout the region. The dead tree is not without significance. When asked if I sensed any message when seeing the image of Our Lady and the Cross in the sky my immediate understanding was that we were about to be punished with severe cataclysmic events due to sin and impenitence. There is a desperate need for the return to the sacraments of Confession and the Holy Mass.

Why would the Virgin Mary and Christ on the cross appear near a dead tree in the midst of trees full of life facing the Hudson RIver? My sense was that Christendom is dead in the United States, meaning a country governed by Judaeo Christian principles is dead. Christianity is not dead, but the laws of this land are set against God in favor of abortion, birth control, gay rights and same sex marriage, divorce, pornography, and all manner of immoral lifestyles, and a massive loss of faith. Yes, Christendom is dead in the United States. This country is being ripped apart like one of the large branches that was ripped off the dead tree from the hurricane of immorality, and more cataclysmic events are to come.
