Here, on GLP - a conspiracy site - there mere suggestion that the election process is a sham and leaders are installed not voted in is received with hate, anger and ridicule. Folks are grasping onto the election process because it is seen as the only bit of hope for the future. Take away that and what are you left with? Its a scary thought and probably the reason that so many refuse to believe it. |

People have the illusion of hope for the election process and that real change could be made because the alternative is too frightening to accept. Acknowledging the truth means that everything they have been living for is a sham. Because our entire system is a sham. It is a hard pill to swallow. |
