i was just on long island today for work. after these more frequent storms a LOT of people there have gennies, but they dont keep gas to run them! they figure when the storm hits they will go get some gas, lol wtf thats the level of smarts we are talking about here.

the gas thing is amazing down there. no gas/electric at 1/2 the stations, and 2 mile lines at the other half. there are 300 yard long lines of people ON FOOT, with gas cans in hand waiting for thier turn at some gas. there are NO GAS CANS LEFT in stores, so if you dont have one you aint getting one.

it felt great to have a full tank while the vermin kill each other for 1 gallon.
