No, homosexuality was taken off the list of mental illnesses by the American Psychological Association in the early 1970s.

Obsession with homosexuality and irrational hatred of homosexuals might be a mental disorder though. At the very least you should be concerned that your obsession might be a sign that you have latent homosexual desires within your subconscious that you're fighting to suppress. Otherwise you wouldn't be so obsessed with it and would be able to get over it and move on with your life.

Actually, the trend is leaning towards considering that behavior "normal".

Sneaky how they want to lump these 2 traits--homosexuality and pedophilia-- together. Being homosexual does not automatically result in harm to other people. Pedophilia is unspeakably evil and those who engage in those crimes should be condemned. Also ironic that majority of pedophiles are heterosexual.

I think most shrinks are nut cases themselves.
