Re: Christians' thoughts on fleeing from Babylon
So one posting here believes that we are called to physically flee from the midst of Babylon and most of the rest think it is spiritual. One aludes to the wilderness, but, the wilderness of where? And one says Israel.

Re: Christians' thoughts on fleeing from Babylon
As already mentioned, it's a spiritual calling, but in some cases it could be physical too.. When the time comes, God will lead you away to a safe place if it's necessary. You could be perfectly safe even in the middle of a warzone though, if you are under God's protection. Look up the story of the Catholic priests who were at ground zero of the Hiroshima bombing in WWII, yet survived without any injury.

The Rapture comes from Darby, a proto-Theosophist and contemporary of Blavatsky. Hal Lindsay said that the Rapture would be by 1988 I think was the year and then later he changed his story to 2018. Today marks a transformative day for the New World Order. I believe it is born of this day, this is it's first appearance and it is solidifying in its final form. We are seeing the rise of the last days government and it kicks off today.

So surprised to see the typical lies about the Rapture... not. Although I have to say I've never seen it smeared with Blavatsky before.

Re. fleeing Babylon, it's for a specific point in the Tribulation, and we are nowhere near that point now. People need to stop scrambling a bunch of unrelated prophecies together and then trying to guess what they mean.

If you are in Babylon... If you are there, you are not supposed to flee on a spur of the moment, but those in Babylon at the time it comes to flee from there will have a choice at that very time to flee or to remain.

Obsessed? So one must be obsessed to have a different viewpoint than you? Again, not surprised; it seems to go with the anti-rapture territory.

You come in here as a beggar taking a handout from any that will reach out to you, when none reach out in your designated acceptable time-frame, you turn into a foul-mouthed deviant, tongue lashing poisonous words, whipped at those you were just begging answers from.

You, are babylon. Babylon is in your puny and small-minded conception of this world, and your place in it. You cannot run from that. I hope it burns when the time is nigh

Look closely at the scriptures that they quote as rapture... yes they will be changed in a moment in the twinkling of the eye... but it is not rapture but death... but death is not a bad thing! those who die will be caught up with jesus in that exact moment... but look at the scriptures where it says Jesus is coming in the clouds with great power and authority and great light... those are nuclear warheads going off...

remember the great fear and trembling.... that is war... read the in Isaiah where God uses Asia and the Kings of the East as his great battle axe!

Jesus himself said he is coming with the great sword to kill!

Babylon (spiritual Babylon) is apostate Christianity. God is calling His people OUT of these false systems of worship back to REAL worship of the Creator God! Are you going to a church that follows the Bible and the 10 commandments INCLUDING the 4th one that says to keep the 7th day holy as God instructs? If you're not, GET OUT OF THERE and go find a church that worships on the right day and goes by the bible! Most of Christianity is in apostasy today, but there are still a select few who worship on the right day. If you read Revelation 14, especially verses 6-12 you will see that God's TRUE people keep HIS commandments, NOT the commandments of men who "changed" (not in reality because man can't really change God's law, they can only THINK to do it like Daniel 7 says) the day of worship from the 7th to the 1st.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4990480

Get out of all churches. Jesus says:

"They will all be taught BY God"
"Follow ME"

Ask for the Holy Spirit
Stop lying
Certify that God is truthful
Let the spirit lead you through His word
Do NOT listen to MEN about what things mean

Paul clearly taught the pre-trib Rapture.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1006274

Doesn't the Rapture speak to many areas, the Supper, God's nature, the Church's final works at the end, and answer other prophetic questions within a premillennial dispensationalist that the Church has been divided on for many years? If it were not foundational to your beliefs then you would be open to post-tribulationism.

Paul doesn't teach the pre-trib Rapture or he would be contradicting the plain words of Christ. In fact, Christ's words shine light on what Paul was speaking about. But nowhere did Paul place this happening prior to the start of the Tribulation.

^^^^^^THIS^^^^^

The physical Babylon’s mother is the same as the lies of the church came from Babylon Look at where Christmas, Easter, Sunday and the other Pagan holidays “Christians” observe came from... Babylon. From Babylon came the mystery religion. Much of that religion still exist today and is a part of our lives. Judaism was polluted just like Christianity by absorbing other religions and beliefs and sometimes this was forced.

The Rapture is simply taken from what Paul said and the context in which he said it. Nothing about the Rapture contradicts anything Jesus said, either. If you want to really study pre-trib Rapture literature, here's a great link: [link to www.raptureme.com] . They go over ever bit of scripture in depth, so it's quite a lot of reading. Anything worth studying is worth studying in depth.
