It's too bad that the Russians are unaware that the USA can eliminate the threat of ALL Russian nuclear weapons, and can penetrate their air defenses.

In other words, if the Russians ever get stupid, the USA can annihilate them without any retaliation from Russia.

Iran, on the other hand scares the crap out of everyone.

:P

Dream on I dont think we have that kind of technology

Oh it's not a dream... and it is good that you don't think we have that kind of technology.

All of those secret space missions paid off!

In the end, it's purely defensive, unless they get all stupid, then, well... It wont be that secret anymore.

crazyjak

Thats why you cant finish syria and too scared of Iran.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12223595

Syria is imploding, why get involved?

Iran, well, you have a point, but it isn't fear of Iran's military capabilities.

Russia would be better off to stay out of all of it, shift to a more open capitalist economy and rise above all of it.

Too bad it is still dominated by old Soviet era relics from the past. Dangerous people, like Putin and others...

We wouldn't have had to spend those trillions and hide it to build and implement superior technologies.

You no longer have mutually assured destruction, only the illusion that we do.

For now, that will do.

Israel needs its usualy MSM barking after hezbullah and Iran knocked a blow to its ego recently with the drone incident. I think no-one or only brain washed sheeples would believe anything this lunatic says. The drone incident showed Israel very vulnerable and as henry kisinger recently said Israel has only less then 10 years of existence left.

Thats exactly why Israel is simulating an attack on Iran, because they have to at least PRETTEND they can attack iran but in reality they dont even dare send a paper plane over iranian airspace

here is a reason why no attack will materialize and Israel just barks as usual.

Thread: Israel not capable of attacking Iran: US intelligence analyst

Also Iran does not need any other country to back it up. They have certain classified techs that would make sure no NATO or Israel and any other nation would dare attacking it and I am not talking nuclear.

Refer to Mehran tavakoli keche. I believe the next was if every god-frobid happens it will be a war of super weapon and secret unbelievable technology like SCIFI movies.

Both Iran and US poses futuristic weapons that we do not know about.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2098241

Re: Israel: PM netanjahu "I'll push the button on Iran if I must"
And Russia would smack them into the ground
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12223595

Oh no, not another "potzreot" who lives in an alternate reality.

LOL, let me clue you in:

1) Russia may object officially, but behind the scenes, any Iran strikes would have Russian approval. I am sure on a quid-pro-quo basis. You give us the codes to S-300, we give you UAV techonology. "Delo tekhniki" as they say. Netanyahu, Lieberman and Putin are a lot closer than you think, and have several big oil-gas projects lined up with Cyprus, Greece and so on.

2) Even if Israel didn't seek permission from Russia or China... ok, Vitaly Churkin may gripe a little bit at the UN in order to appease his Iraninan counterpart, but ultimately nothing will becoe off it. Maybe more quid-pro-quo deals to grease their palms. In fact, I would bet that secretly Russia would breath a sigh of relief if Israel were to destroy or seriously set-back Iranian nuke program. Because last thing Russia needs is to have a nuclear Iran, which would spark a regional nuclear race, which means Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Syria will all come running to Pakistan and North Korea offering many billions for their war-heads. That would be a nightmare scenario for BOTH Russia and the US. Wouldn't be surprised if US and Russia have secret contingencies in place and generally cooperate on the IAEA issues more closely than the general public is aware of.

3) Russia and China actually want Iran to get its ass kicked by Israel. Provided of course that American promise NOT to put boots on the ground in Iran, which of course no American president is stupid enough to do..... Why? Because then Iran will have to REBUILD. Not just its nuke facilities, but its government, military, communications, industrial and energy intrastructure. That's literally 10's of BILLIONS of dollars for Russian military & construction firms. Wow, what a bonanza. What, you think Iran has any other choice by to rely on Russia or China? They'll bitch and moan, but ultimately Ayatollah's will come crawling back to Moscow and offer good terms on any reconstruction deal. A win-win for Russia.

4) You also need to remeber this: Even going by open sources and rumours, Israel has upwards of 500 nukes of all sizes, from megaton ICBM MIRV Jericho-III, to shorter range Jericho II, to Dolphin-based Turbo-Popeye nuke-tipped cruise missiles. Even the suit-case variety. Of course, Israel is known as world class expert in EMP. And both biological and chemical capacity.

And then there is Stuxnet, Duqu, Flame and possibly newer even more sophistcated classified stuff. A "Start-Up Nation" and all. There are also hardened Silos deep underground. In fact, I wouldn't surprised if Izzy use their friends India, South Sudan and rented US-controlled islands to position their REDUNDANT capabilities --- meaning that even if Israel is destroyed in the 1st strike, it can still inflict huge damage from secondary "insurence" capabilties off land and sea.

Why does it matter? Because if you think for ONE second Israel is somehow so afraid of Russia that they won't defend themselves against Iran's constant 30 year worth of threats of Annihilation of "Zionist Entity".... you're sorely mistaken.

Remember, worst comes the worst, Israel can just as easily hit Moscow, St.Petersburg, most of your Caspian Oil installations, Black sea resorts..... anything you name it. No place safe. Remember, to destroy ANY country no matter how big, all you have to do is to hit 5-10 strategic or symbolic targets ---and the country becomes hell on earth to live. So it works both ways....

Then again, most Israelis I know, actually like Russia and a few even speak Russian. So I don't see why Russian trolls always come to point out how RussiaStrong1111111OneAdynAdynoNE!!! Putin will destroy Jews" for this reason or for that reason.

Just relax and everything will be fine. Iran will be taken care of in due time, and everyone will make money.

The end.

Yep, most of the best Russian tech is basically upgraded Soviet designs. And of course the stuff they managed to steal from US companies and/or that Chinese hackers were managed to steal bits and pieces of....

Of course with a traitor mole like Obama back for 2nd term, all bets are off. I could definately see him pull a Bill Clinton and sneaking top-secret American tech with America's enemies in exchange for some political advantegeous concession for Hillary's 2016 election chances....

Either way, Israel is not and never has been afraid of Russia. Israel is trying to make friends with Russia, but you know USSR trained, equipped and advised the Arab armies who tried to destroy several times in the past. Israel triumphed every time, but you know it's a tiny country -- and it's not easy to forget the Russian treachery.

Anyway, everybody will make money off Iran and will be happy when it's all said and done. And hey, maybe the young, anti-Ayatollah Iranian population will be FREE from their yoke once and for all.

Seems you all missed the most important piece of information from that interview...

"I guarantee that as if I'm re-elected as prime minister I will not allow Iran to get a nuclear bomb," Netanyahu said in an interview. Asked if he was really capable of "pressing the button," Netanyahu replied: "I am capable, if I have to. I hope that I won't have to."

That indicates NO strike until AFTER the Israeli elections... could just be subterfuge, as I am expecting them to hit before new years day if Obama is re-elected. (Next 7 weeks).
