The only way to pay it off is to devalue(high inflation). The level of debt is now so high, it's stopping economic growth being high enough to generate enough tax revenue to service the debt.

Funny you say that, cos the Fed is already buying around 60% of US sovereign Debt, and some Economists are saying that the debt could be written off to boost growth. The whole thing is a fucking absolute scam!
