The cross doesn't represent Christianity.

It is a pagan symbol.....

Early churches never had a "cross" on them.

It's only when the catholic jesuits started infiltrating the protestant churches did churches start having crosses on them.

Jesus Christ was crucified on a live tree (probably an olive tree although I've heard it could have been an almond tree)

The real translation of the word "cross" in the bible is WOOD.

But without context...taking up one's "wood" would not mean what it did back then......so they changed it to cross.

But in reality, Jesus was nailed to a tree.....the "cross he carried" was the plank of wood where his hands were stretched and nailed to.

In any event.......while what this guy did was "sick" in some wierd way......it is funny.

Maybe God told him to do that ? I'm not going to judge him.

Maybe he was sick of the hypocracy of churches that think they are "righteous" because they put some metal cross on their property.

I don't know his motivations......
