Ice turns 60

I'm not Ice but I'm from south Louisiana.

My family is French, but they came directly from France during 1700s instead of from Canada.

All those French people in that part of the state are very friendly, warm and funny too.

Ice's crawfish picture made me homesick.

I think about moving back sometimes, especially now that I'm getting up there too.

No "working on something that's gonna be really good", or whatever you said.

Everyday you Live In HIS Accord IS all you need or can ask for. 28.5 years since I made my surrender at age 30. Beaten down and broken at what some would call a tender-age. Didn't ask God for anything, just to take me and do with me as HE Willed. Had enough of the self-willed life and all its defeats; no matter how prosperous or cool my life seemed to many to be.

Without God Guiding you, there is no Confidence. No matter how much bravado you try to exhibit. Even if God had Given me everything in the universe I could imagine to ask HIM for, all I could imagine would have been LESS than HE Has Given me since...


Too bad so few are able to make their Leap Of Faith. In brokenness and failure lies The Way Through Christ Jesus to Father-God's Victory! Got to give up your life to find Life In-HIM. Just willingness to Trust HIM Fully and the strength through Love to make your surrender.

Like a knight surrendering to serve a new king... Give the king your dagger, lay your head upon his knee: "Do with me Sire as thou wilt"... No murder or defeat in or Of-God. You honest and sincere? HE Knows. No wrong way to make your surrender, unless you are unable to give yourself w/o condition or terms....


God's Will IS Always Perfect!
If HE Has Put Knowledge Of WHO Jesus IS Upon your heart, and you Love Our Redeemer; the opportunity to surrender self and gain A New Heart Of HIS Flesh is yours, if you will but seek HIM and open your heart.
