Whenever people are trying to be scientific and are using slides and graphics and such and are predicting cataclysmic events as they drawl on in a dialect which causes them to pronounce such words as "because" as "becaws" and "get" as "git" they shouldn't be taken seriously as scientists

They are most likely very out there in their worldviews and deluded. Very peculiar folkish people.

I see this is kind of ubiquitous on GLP' whether it is about earthquakes, aliens, chemtrails, etc., if it's a YouTube video offering some kind of analysis it's usually for the most part some kind of yokel crank person with no scientific or journalistic ability.

These country/southern/folk Americans are never to be confused with people like George Bush, Sarah Palin, other elites or Alaskans, "yoopers," and, you are aware of this already, Canadians.

I highly doubt you will find many readily taking these "folksy" people with more than a grain of salt besides those who are foreign to our culture and/or folksy people themselves.

If you are looking at geological activity that occurs around geological formations that took a billion years to form and you think some kind of map is a sign that it's all going to be suddenly reversing itself or doing somDDOONTething cataclysmic you're probably failing to take into account the fact that these things probably build in intensity so slowly that what you see is what you get.

It is a waste of time to look at it in any other way, and to suggest otherwise is hyperbole.

Exactly! That's what I've been saying since the 7.7 Russian quakes all indicators point towards a large magnitude event in Japan/Russia vicinity but I am only going by past information and current data available. I thinks it's at least a 'heads up' moment if nothing else.
