Kind of a low price for Carlin to pay, to influence people's thinking. Well, all the people that think they have NO power, have NO power. All the people who they they HAVE power, HAVE power. It's your choice. A wonderful arrangement, really. Pessimism is an infectious disease, but so is optimism. Choose to be an optimist about yourself and world; choose to vote (even though it is a drop in the bucket). You mean; they have no power in America. Not every country is run by meaningless figureheads. Not trying to say you should not vote or side with a party, just that a President doesn't `run` a country in such a way that is often depicted.
