Whoever Wins the Election, God IS Still on His throne!
Tomorrow we vote for the one we choose to become the leader of this nation for the next 4 years.

Whoever is chosen, we are to honor him.

We might not agree with what he has to say, but we are still called to respect the office of the President.

"Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good.

For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.
Honor everyone.
Love the brotherhood.
Fear God.
Honor the emperor."
1 Peter 2:13-17

Whoever wins, will face a tough future.

However, we mustn't get so involved with who will be occupying the White House that we forget who reigns forever.

Christ sits on the throne--Jesus is our King!!

He should be our focus!

Daniel 4:17 says--the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone He wishes…

Our God already knows who will be our President.

We ought to pray for both candidates. We ought to pray for America--it's in a huge mess!

We continue to pray for God's will to be done--not for Him to bless us--He already has!

I am not going to lose hope if the election goes a different direction than the one I anticipate, for we believe that God can use all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

I will count it all joy, no matter what the final result brings.

Almighty God can use a Presidential Election to help us realize that we ARE living in the last days before Christ's return!

Even though our earthly freedoms may be taken away, one thing is for certain, as a true follower of Christ, I will always remain free in Him.

All true believers are free in Christ--free from the sin that once entangled us.

This is something I am eternally thankful for.

He who molded the mountains is mighty to save and He is far more powerful than any politician.

He will still be in control no matter who we elect, and He will bring about His perfect will as a result of it.
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task
the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24

"This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;
and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:7

I don't think that Our Lady,Christ and the Holy Ghost give a shit about who wins. They both are luciferians and they don't tell you that Christ is God. Remember this is lucifer's world.

The god of this world is LUCIFER. That is who and what you are serving when you VOTE for "the lessor of two evils".

God is still on His throne and that throne is NOT THIS EARTH.

Lucifer retains power here by the evil of men against their brothers. WAR, Politics, banking etc.

You mean like when I'm on MY throne every morning and after dinner every night? You can get a lot of serious thinking done so he must be smart like me. Solve all the worlds problems in one flush and all that.

VERY seriously, pray on. I support your right to whatever religion you choose. And as long as you support mine, we're good.

You DO know this country was founded on freedom of religion, don't you? It's a very serious thing. We wanted to get away from King George and the Church of England, so we started our own place where everyone was free to worship as they felt in their hearts. Or even none at all if that's what they wanted, without fear of prejudice. That's why I fully support your right to worship as you feel. I'll even drive you to church if you need a ride, and not even expect the favor to be returned. Just don't tell me I'm wrong and you're right, because...

It's the opposite. It's because God is sovereign that we SHOULD vote. He reigns, regardless of the outcome. If He doesn't reign, everything is futile and voting for what is right is nonsensical.

Re: Whoever Wins the Election, God IS Still on His throne!
I voted by absentee ballot in CA (still have my legal residence there) and that was almost two weeks ago. Whoever wins, I'm going to be so glad to see the end of this insane campaigning season. Personally I think the Presidential campaigns should start in June and finish by November. No exceptions. Enough its enough and of course it takes most of our congress and senate out of their office where they might do something useful and busies them campaigning for themselves or their buddies. It gets OLD. Very old and very quickly. Plus it wastes BILLIONS of dollars on ads we don't want to see, and slogans no one will ever remember. Show me a politician that would work thru the campaign season and never leave his desk to campaign and that is a man or woman I would happily vote for!

I needed to remind myself. I was getting too emotional over this election.

Yesterday I told a friend that if Obama is re-elected, I think I will cry. That's not right.

I finally got a hold of myself and realized that even though one of these men will lead America for the next 4 years, I already have a permanent King.

That's what matters. And now I feel fine.
