Lorne Greene's New wilderness
Does anyone remember this show? Pretty hard to find anywhere online.

For all you nature lovers, it was a Canadian produced show that started in 1982 but, seems to be pretty hard to find.

So all you Glp wizards out there show me some vid!

From what I can remember it was, but it's been a long time since I've seen it. Someone out there has to have a vhs or something....

Re: Lorne Greene's New wilderness
sorry frenchie, it was a lame joke.

Ringo is the song Lorne does advertised after you watch the clip of him introducing the show.

He recorded the song in 1964 when the Beatles were first conquering America.

The Beatles were John Lennon, Paul McCarthy, George Harrison, and on the drums...RINGO

Actually it was on a Greene album as a track in 1963. Took advantage of the Beatles fame and released it as a single. Remember, sharpsters sold sqare inches of their pillow cases and bedsheets when they stayed in a hotel.

Re: Lorne Greene's New wilderness
I read somewhere that Lorne Greene actually bought the horse he rode in Bonanza after the show ended.
