You don't choose what to believe but rather, you believe what makes sense to you.

I think the problem with many beliefs is that some people choose to ignore what might be possible if it contradicts what they already believe.

I'll give you some pointers. Nothing is what it seems. The best lies contain a kernal of truth or are bracketed by truths so as to appear credible in context. If it's coming from the mouth of a politician its a lie 99.999% of the time. If it's coming from a scientist with experimental evidence it might be true unless that scientist is paid by politicians then see the above rule. generally it is better to take everything in with skepticism but also an open mind. its a balance. dont be close minded but dont be gullible.

Why believe anything? Belief suggests you don't know, concentrate on what you know and eliminate belief.

We all choose what to believe and then find the facts to back up that belief.

It is time for you to make your choice, choose wisely.

Why should I? Is there any reason to choose at all?

for example: i believe in the good in peoples hearts
thats one of many realizations i made over a time
i call them realizations, for they presented to me as such

my beliefs are mine, strongly dependent on MY associations and MY relations with them (here you can have your version)

another example: i believe in nature
where life has the highest authority (also came to me as a realization after axperiencing the loss of it)

what is so hard on it ? believing.. you can replace it with admitting and on the surface will all appear the same!
(only on the surface... for your approach already changed for a better one!.. admitting can contain all versions, where belief is SET and could be opnly copied in time, but the working part is not there.. you can do nothing with it, not combine, not edit.. only spreading more copies of it.. this parroting style of todays religions is a shame)

in the end a question for all GLPers with few neurons left:

why it is so important for you ? to have specific beliefs ?

If it comes out of the mouth of Man, do not believe it. Simple.

T1 and T2 receptors mediate it in a special way, that you seems to be more aware of your senses (the forgotten language) than before this inhibition of them (-with weed! I dont know any other substance, which will react with our T1 and T2 receptors.. so quick logic here: we have it..we use it)

Choosing not to choose is still a choice. Ex.: If you see one man attacking another and you do nothing you are inadvertently choosing the side of the attacker.
