I just got back from voting. Voted about 11am MDT.

I was only the 90th voter. This state, New Mexico, is known for going Democrat. The county I live in is one of ones with the lowest income level. I say that because the turn out was very low, took me five minutes to vote.

I believe, that the reason was because a lot of these OBummer voters are not voting.

That may work in Mitt's favor. Have to wait and see, I guess.

If there is such a thing as a RHINO, Christie fits the description.

The logic is as follows:

For "Provisional Ballots" (in Ohio) once they are cast the Board of Election then first determins the Legal Voting Status of the person who cast the Provisional Ballot. (was the person validly registered etc. etc.). This is usually caused by an issue of lack of ID when at the polls (10 days to provide it) moving and not changing one's voter registration location, but also includes if the person was registered at all.

It then checks to see if the person voted previously via mail or via early voting.

Finally it checks to see that the information THE PERSON filled out (ongoing Fed Ct. litigation at the moment on this one) the Provisional Ballot form accurately and the signatures match that which is on file.

With 150,000 to 250,000 provisional ballots being cast in Ohio today they COULD determine the outcome if the race is particularly tight. In 2010 one Ohio Congressional race WAS decided by the Provisional Ballots.

All in all 10 days to perform all those reviews is easily accomplished in rural counties, but tough to get accomplished in the Urban Counties (the BOE's have an extra 10 days to complete their reviews AFTER the 10 day state wide hold is over with, if needed fwiw)

Except I voted for Obama last time, as he was the closest thing to a conservative in that election. So he lost a vote this time, as Johnson is the closest thing to a conservative this time.

Side note, my first presidental vote ever was John McCain in the 2000 primaries, I was 17. I did not vote for him in 2008 because he was not the same guy.

Christie need money for his state. If he didn't play the game, Ovomit-Nastyturd would've held back. He's sweet, that way,-and he's proven it...look at the GM car dealerships he took away (all republican).

Unlike Ovomit, Christie really does care for all his constituents and wants to make sure they are safe and get the FEMA help they deserve.

Out of 78 people, 38 Republicans, 7 Democrats, the rest Independents.

Not true. Many democrats vote for the libertarian.

Plus it depends on your state. I live in California, my vote is worthless....no matter who I voted for this state goes to Obama.

Hell I could write in kermit the frog, it would have the same effect as voting for Romney...

In this tight of a race, especially where it's tight, if Mitt loses by 5% or less, I blame you Gary Johnson voter for allowing Obama 4 more years.

I just heard that, and it is great news!

I like to think that Christie called Obama out there, and Obama took the bait.

It took him away from the campaign trail into a state he will win hands down.

Sadly, I think he changed who he was to recieve the nomination. Had he been 2000 John McCain, I would have voted for him.

If what you are saying is true - it was a very short-sighted move on Christy's part. Espeically considering that Obama does not have a track record of giving a shit anyway -- after he gets what he wants, it does not matter who helped him get it.

I also note that Christy turned down the offer of free gas from the feds for his constitutents... the guy didn't want to tie up resources to protect the gas lines... and you say he cares for his state -- so he sucks up to Obama?

He should have sucked it in (pun intended) and not wasted resources on Obamas visit -- resources that he is not willing to put on the line for his own people (free gas).
