I am not in a swing state.

Regardless, I would not give anyone any sh*t for voting their conscience.

The most important thing to me is the debt. The debt will end us. Romney is as big of a spender as Obama.

So for anyone who takes the debt seriously, GJ is the only choice..

Honestly, considering that I am much younger than most people here, I feel like I am just banging my head against the wall because people just don't care about the Truth, just pre-conceived notions and media hype

1) No, Romney is NOT as big a spender as Liberals. That's classic Ross Perot straw-man designed to split the Republican vote. Yes, Reagan run up the debt, but he did that to DEFEAT the Totalitarian Evil of Soviet Union -- and bby extension re-affirm the virtues of America, Capitalism, Technological Progress and Freedom ---- which is why you had that boom in the 90s that the shameless Bill Clinton got undeserved credit for. It can all be traced to Reagan and Bush Sr's symbolic defeat of Communism and opening up the world to American products & ideas.

2) Obama added an astonishing 6 trillion dollars to the debt --- almost as much as ALL previous presidents in the history of the US COMBINED. And that's nothing compared to his far more radical communist plans that he saved for his 2nd term, now that "he no longer has to worry about re-election"..... Wake up.

3) The ONLY way to pay down national debt in the long-term is TO GROW THE ECONOMY. That's how yield literally TRILLIONS of dollars over next 5 years. But as long as Obama is scaring corporations, small businesses and foreign investors away from investing in America's future... we're going to go into Double-dip recession and the debt will fly past 20 trillion in short order. That would be the end of America as you knew it, trust.

Can Romney solve everything with a wave of a magic wand? No. But he has shown in past, in Massachussets and during the Olympics, as well as in the ultra-compettivie & complex Corporate world.... that Romney can and will work with the opposition, will take all POV in consideration, and will try to operate in a bi-partisan way that most voters are demanding these days.

Most importantly, much like Reagan broke the back of he Jimmy Carter Mailaise, Stagflation, oil embargos --- even though it took Ronny 2 long years to do it, it didn't happen ovenight.... Romney too could once again INSPIRE the nation, HEAL the divide, and get America WORKING again, instead of sitting arounf all depressed & waiting for hand-outs that slowly bankrupt the country.

Or, you can have the Messiah back. And then 8 years of Bill Clinton (Hillary). And then in 12 years, another good-looking, charismatic Hispanic Obama will come along to vow the nation. Bye-bye Republican party.

That's the choice this elecion. Nothing short of the cultural clash -- maybe even clash of Civilizations playing out in Northern Ohio.

Number one on your list is false. I am willing to bet you that if Romney is elected, the debt still rises.

That is one thing I am completely sure of.

That's both a logical fallacy and complete ignorance of how the economy and the national debt work.

In other words, same old Quixotic Libertarian GIGO. (Garbage in, Garbage out).

I used a Reagan example for a reason. Not because he and Bush Sr. were perfect --- there is no such thing as "perfect" unless you're Dear Leader Super-Honourable Demigod Ron Paul, of course...... But Historical perspectives matter. Macro econommics matter.

(And no, I am not excusing the "bankers" recklessness in 2008, but for that you ALSO have to thank Liberal boon-goggle Fannie & Freddie perverting, distorting the real-estate markets for decades... the Jimmy Carter era laws that prohibit turning down high-risk applicants and minorities for loans.....Bill Clinton's repeal of Glass-Steagal Act... all leading to a bubble. But again, that's neither here nor there when discussing Obama's frighening plans to explode the national debt to 20+ trillion and effectively kills our Repulic)

For instance: if Romney gets us growing again at just 4 percent compared to our current 1 percent, that's a yield 7.5 TRILLION dollars over the next 7-10 years. That's enough to cover (hopefully reduced welfare and entitlement) --- and still pay down SOME of the national debt.

Or you know, you can have your Gary Johnson-promised equivalent of Gold-backed Rainbow Unicorns & cute puppies who sign a Peace Treaty with Iran's Apocalyptic Ayatollah.

Nevermind.
