The lines in Licking Co., Ohio are long. Heavy republic turnout. The yard signs are 10 to 1 for Romney.

I walked right in, with no wait, in 2008 to vote.

Turnout is going to be massive, and it isn't democrats this time.

The people want their country back!!!!

:gads:
 Quoting: Sleeping Giant

An election wont give you your country back. Did you just wake up 4 years after electing Obama to realise something is wrong? The situation you are in is more complicated than that.

What are you gonna tell the world? That you didn't know you were being deceived 4 years ago? That you didnt know Obama was a fraud? Let's assume that is the case. What are the chances that you are making the right decision now? No, no, no.....its too late for you guys. You have to atone for something much more greater than a vote cast on a piece of paper. You will learn to value your lives and that of one another.

This election will turn out to be biggest mess you have ever witnessed. There will be o winner but Obama will remain your president to cover your shame but he wont be there to save you........he'll be there to destroy you. Sit back and enjoy the show!

I did a bit of my own polling today and this is what I found out...

I voted in Texas at noon....No lines at all. For that matter there were only 2 Democrats on the ballot. (LOL)

Checked with family in St. Louis Missouri (city) long lines at 6 am.

Spoke to a friend in a small town in NC. She said lines were short this afternoon and she thinks that NC is going to go for Romney... from what she saw. (a swing state)

Ohio here. Not far away. There was about a 5-10 minute wait around 10:30 or so. Very efficient and friendly poll workers there. I'm in the boonies. :)

Had to show picture ID and sign before I voted. I'm afraid to turn on the TV.

I think my polling location does a good job. Two people look at your ID. They were kicking someone out while I was there. I could only assume it was because they were campaigning in the room. They said it was like the third person that day. There was also a poll observer there and a couple of the old ladies were freaking out about it because he didn't have a badge. I didn't see who they were talking about, though.

Honestly, considering that I am much younger than most people here, I feel like I am just banging my head against the wall because people just don't care about the Truth, just pre-conceived notions and media hype

1) No, Romney is NOT as big a spender as Liberals. That's classic Ross Perot straw-man designed to split the Republican vote. Yes, Reagan run up the debt, but he did that to DEFEAT the Totalitarian Evil of Soviet Union -- and bby extension re-affirm the virtues of America, Capitalism, Technological Progress and Freedom ---- which is why you had that boom in the 90s that the shameless Bill Clinton got undeserved credit for. It can all be traced to Reagan and Bush Sr's symbolic defeat of Communism and opening up the world to American products & ideas.

2) Obama added an astonishing 6 trillion dollars to the debt --- almost as much as ALL previous presidents in the history of the US COMBINED. And that's nothing compared to his far more radical communist plans that he saved for his 2nd term, now that "he no longer has to worry about re-election"..... Wake up.

3) The ONLY way to pay down national debt in the long-term is TO GROW THE ECONOMY. That's how yield literally TRILLIONS of dollars over next 5 years. But as long as Obama is scaring corporations, small businesses and foreign investors away from investing in America's future... we're going to go into Double-dip recession and the debt will fly past 20 trillion in short order. That would be the end of America as you knew it, trust.

Can Romney solve everything with a wave of a magic wand? No. But he has shown in past, in Massachussets and during the Olympics, as well as in the ultra-compettivie & complex Corporate world.... that Romney can and will work with the opposition, will take all POV in consideration, and will try to operate in a bi-partisan way that most voters are demanding these days.

Most importantly, much like Reagan broke the back of he Jimmy Carter Mailaise, Stagflation, oil embargos --- even though it took Ronny 2 long years to do it, it didn't happen ovenight.... Romney too could once again INSPIRE the nation, HEAL the divide, and get America WORKING again, instead of sitting arounf all depressed & waiting for hand-outs that slowly bankrupt the country.

Or, you can have the Messiah back. And then 8 years of Bill Clinton (Hillary). And then in 12 years, another good-looking, charismatic Hispanic Obama will come along to vow the nation. Bye-bye Republican party.

That's the choice this elecion. Nothing short of the cultural clash -- maybe even clash of Civilizations playing out in Northern Ohio.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27129510

Number one on your list is false. I am willing to bet you that if Romney is elected, the debt still rises.

That is one thing I am completely sure of.
 Quoting: *Evan*

That's both a logical fallacy and complete ignorance of how the economy and the national debt work.

In other words, same old Quixotic Libertarian GIGO. (Garbage in, Garbage out).

I used a Reagan example for a reason. Not because he and Bush Sr. were perfect --- there is no such thing as "perfect" unless you're Dear Leader Super-Honourable Demigod Ron Paul, of course...... But Historical perspectives matter. Macro econommics matter.

(And no, I am not excusing the "bankers" recklessness in 2008, but for that you ALSO have to thank Liberal boon-goggle Fannie & Freddie perverting, distorting the real-estate markets for decades... the Jimmy Carter era laws that prohibit turning down high-risk applicants and minorities for loans.....Bill Clinton's repeal of Glass-Steagal Act... all leading to a bubble. But again, that's neither here nor there when discussing Obama's frighening plans to explode the national debt to 20+ trillion and effectively kills our Repulic)

For instance: if Romney gets us growing again at just 4 percent compared to our current 1 percent, that's a yield 7.5 TRILLION dollars over the next 7-10 years. That's enough to cover (hopefully reduced welfare and entitlement) --- and still pay down SOME of the national debt.

Or you know, you can have your Gary Johnson-promised equivalent of Gold-backed Rainbow Unicorns & cute puppies who sign a Peace Treaty with Iran's Apocalyptic Ayatollah.

Nevermind.

Well, this settles then.

My fellow Right-wingers were FULL OF SHIT yet again.

Pounded their chests about how they are so ready to throw the Muslim Commie Race-baiter-in-Chief out of office....

about how the Republican TURN-OUT would be so HUGE (picture Donal Trumpm saying the word) in swing states especially, that Obama is all but finished.

A Romney land-slide in the making. Paul Tards were already excusing their treacherous betrayal of the Republican Party... by saying "well, Romney is going to win, so I am voting with my conscience".

Then not even 2 hours later, y'all ran away. No accountability, no explanation. No nothing.

Pathetic.
