When Don't Ask Don't Tell's repeal was being debated, people against the repeal brought up the possibility that homosexuals would use their rank to sexually harass and abuse subordinates. Of course, this was portrayed by liberals as another crazy right wing crackpot view that would never happen. Once again, liberals are wrong. Many are fools who parrot the party line. The more devious ones purposely promote homosexuality to ruin society.

And how is this any different from male superior forcing female soldiers to sex? It's wrong in both cases and has nothing to do with gays in the military.

Besides, rape of female soldiers is endemic in our military. If there's a sex-related problem that needs solving now, it's that one and not Teh Gay(tm) threat.

At times like this I am glad I went from the Army to the Marines. What a disgrace.

My comments about gays abusing their power still stand. I'm sure there are cases since don't ask don't tell was repealed. As for women being raped and harassed, that is also a problem which still needs to be solved. Since homosexuals are now allowed to serve openly, the problem of sexual harassment and assault has been compounded. People of both genders are now at risk.

Not all homosexuals are abusive. However, if you don't think some open homosexuals won't use their power to coerce sex out of same-gender subordinates, that is like thinking women aren't raped in the military.
