Dr.DoomLittle User ID: 6231580 United States 11/06/2012 05:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As I said in chat... Quoting: SHR Sadly the vast majority of Johnson voters are casting their votes to acheive some sort of psudeo-non-conformaty warm fuzzy feeling. It's more or less a flock of self serving sheep calling everyone else...sheep. I find it rather sad, pathetic and misguided...but whatever makes you feel good, meh... You know I'm 43 years old, and I'm way way past any pseudo-non-conformity warm fuzzy feeling. I voted my politics and my conscience, and if we're not voting these things, what's the point?!?!? Now all of this said, I understand and agree with the need to get Obama out of office. I don't support all of Romney's politics, but I certainly support more of his policies than I do Obama's policies... So I will be happy about a Romney victory, and support his presidency, though my expectations will be tempered. Also, I am a realist, I live in Texas, where Romney will win by a comfortable margin and take the states electoral votes (which is the only thing that really matters anyway), had I been in a different (closer swing state) I may well have voted differently... thats the problem |

Also Step 4.: Watch your country crumble. No matter what do you call the system. Last Edited by emerald_glow on 11/06/2012 05:12 PM Emerald_Glow |

They scream "Socialism!" until their house catches fire and they need the FD to rescue their children from certain fiery death. They scream "Socialism!" for a single mother on food stamps while themselves eating a corn GMO product that was largely produced by a corporation recieving millions in government subsidies. They scream "Socialism!" for poor and disabled people recieving government housing and educational assistance yet spend alot of their lives hunting and fishing on Federally owned land stocked with federally funded and stocked wildlife. |

That is your decision, but at least I'm not too lazy to even go cast a vote. It is ignorant fuckers like you that have put this country in the shape it is now. If you don't vote(for either party) STFU. Your opinion means nothing. Quoting: last one You're right, I don't vote. I don't vote for two candidates of which I despise, and no, I don't understand how *I* put this country in the position its in. If I do vote, it'd be a write in for Ron Paul or myself. So before you make a total ass of yourself, please explain how the two party system (bought and sold) is going to solve anything. [link to www.opensecrets.org] So, asshole, i'm not the problem. This is all on you and others who have voted for evil and continue to vote for evil. We were meant to live for so much more, have we lost ourselves? |

I would rather throw my vote away than vote for the status quo. You can look at it a couple of ways, either you believe this is a true democracy and your vote actually counts, or you believe that it's all just a show to make us feel like we have a voice. If you believe it's real, then why wouldn't you vote for what you actually believe in? NO SHIT/ I was talking to some friends(Obama voters) who said "after the election I'll go back to hating Obama". How much sense does that make? If you're going to vote, DON'T BE A PUSSY about it, stand the fuck up for what you believe in, DON'T VOTE FOR 1 JUST TO TAKE THE OTHER ONE OUT. Believe me I've heard the same story from both side "We have to vote for Romney, So Obama doesn't win it, or vice versa. This is stupid fucking logic, and not a very good source of motivation. My motivation comes from years of seeing both sides rape us, I'm sick of it, and you should be as well. THAT IS WHY I WILL STAND THE FUCK UP AND VOTE FOR GARY JOHNSON ! BTW I'm one that believes it's just a show. I also feel that your compliance is your agreement to be governed, but I figure I've already made the mistake of REGIStering, so why not? shameless to plaster this up a few times. My intuition is telling me it will be Romney either way, first off it would trigger the "riot's", and of course it needs to continuously flip back and forth. Then the repubs will still have faith in the system and say "See Obama sucked and we voted him out". That's why all the Dems where so hyped up last time, voting out Bush. It has to go back and fourth. Obamanauts are still so hyped up about it that they will claim fraud if they lose. I see a win for Romney causing more problems immediately, and that's what the people at the top seem to want. |

Romney = Pre-emptive war, massive spending, no regard for the constitution, NDAA, PATRIOT ACT, Hybrid Obamacare, Torture, Federal Reserve inflation, massive spying, All of this YOU pay for. This is corporate socialism. It is still socialism, but the money goes to massive corporations and the MIC. Obama = The same exact thing with different rhetoric. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 5423177 United States 11/06/2012 05:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I voted for Gary Johnson today because despite freezing my butt off in my house that half flooded from sandy I still love my country and the constitution. The American flag still hangs from my ruined house here in jersey. You may break the will of the sheeple but you can never break the spirit of the real Americans. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 26897810 United States 11/06/2012 05:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seriously? I guess it depends on how one looks at it. Being in NY, Johnson has my vote. If I were in a "swing state", I'd vote for Romney, just to get one bum out so we can call the POTUS out without being called racist or islamaphobic or what not. I'm sick and tired of the f***ing race card. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 26728684 United States 11/06/2012 05:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am a realist. For dumbshits like you, that means that I recognize, and live in, reality. Johnson has no chance of winning a fucking thing. Romney does. Therefore, I choose to vote for someone that will replace Obama. Replace Obama. That is what we need(in reality). Waste your vote, it's your privilege. you think romney will fix things? that's laughable, he won't change a thing obama has done since he was elected. get ready for obama 2.0 if he's elected. you people are so misinformed it's sad Do not put words in my mouth, nor insinuate that I made that statement in my post. I said I would vote for someone capable of garnering enough votes to defeat Obama. That category of people does not include Gary Johnson. You fail. So you would rather vote for someone that will get the votes over someone who would actually change things? It's going to be the same no matter which clown gets it. Grow some, and don't be afraid to throw your vote away. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 5423177 United States 11/06/2012 05:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I vote for Gary Johnson because I know better. America made a choice today. They will live to face the consequences of that decision. The Johnson voters know what's coming and will profit from it. It pays to be smart even though knowledge sometimes leads to many sleepless nights. Harden up AMerica. Theres a lot of pain coming |
