States rights 4. No foreign Entanglements Now in 2012 this is what it means. 1. No gays or lesbians (when many "conservative" politicians are closet gays) 2. No abortion (even though dropping bombs on innocents is still murder) 3. War abroad to make us free and thats about it..folks...throw in "liberal" to blame every thing that you don't agree with and there you have it... The new conservative republicans think that the first list in liberal... You nailed it absolutely 100%!!!!!!! The "Republican" talking heads (Limpballs, Hanratty, Fox News, etc.) have hijacked the party. PIN THIS!!!! Apollo astronauts couldn't have passed through Van Allen's Belt. Van Allen wore suspenders. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 21188697 United States 11/06/2012 09:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yup OP I agree. The party has been fractured by the Neo-Cons, Tea Party, and Evangelical Christians. Fundamental conservative principles got tossed somewhere in the fray. It's a shame because I think what people really want is some old school, small government conservatism. Not the crazy accusations of the Tea Party, the endless unfunded wars of the Neo-Cons, or the Theocracy of the Evans. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26997426 You are so right..and its sad to say..unless a william wallace comes in and saves the country we are pretty much hosed... |

I am a Conservative Republican and that first list still comes first with regard to political basics. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24710731 The second list is more about individual morality and worldview. These things are still legitimate things to care about and vote about, btw. Well show me a politician who who regards that first list and has a plan to live by those standards and I'll vote for him/her.. can you name one? Seriously? |

It's impossible to be fiscally responsible It is impossible to scale back the Fed States rights died with the Civil War We may not want to entangle with the Foreigns, but they want to entangle with us. Technology made all of this impossible. |

Democratic platform has to many causes, the Republican are incredibly narrow on policy stance and ideology. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 21188697 United States 11/07/2012 07:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is a huge difference between what the GOP elites think and what the average GOP Joe thinks. Smaller Government to the elite means less taxes for them and their corporate masters, less EPA rules so they can gain profit by poisoning the environment, less rules for their Ponzy schemes. It has nothing to do with an actual smaller Federal Government or more freedoms for the average Joe. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26789552 Very true but I'm mad at these "republicans" (ie the masses) who think that this mad politicians are true republicans and they fall into the same mold just echoing the policies of globalist puppets because they are "republican" or "conservative" bush was the biggest example of a gay liberal |
