She received her Ph.D. in developmental biology from the University of Washington and was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23223519 Humans have not evolved from apes. Humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor. We are not the sons of apes but some of us are monkey's uncles! It's a colloquialism. They are known as the "great apes", and nobody wants to keep writing out "common ancestor with apes". It doesn't matter what you call it anyways. It's still a bogus fairy-tale. Put down the kool-aid.
