Absolutely. I've been fighting back tears. And losing. It hit me a few weeks ago. We were at the Air Force museum here in Dayton. There was a video playing...something about the stealth bomber or something. But it was a speech (maybe Reagan...don't remember) and just so patriotic and talking about how strong our country was. Hubby and I stood there watching in silence remembering the America that doesn't exist any more. I'm not saying things were perfect then. But that pride and security...they are gone. Gone. My children will never know that country. I fear for what they face.
