I think if they were doing that they'd really need to offer some better movies/shows though.

The videos they offer with Prime haven't shown me much. I have only watched one video since I've had Prime. As far as the pricing scheme it brings in people that don't have a lump sum OR just want it for a short time (shopping or watching)
