They want people to believe their votes do not matter, they are playing you like a fiddle & we know how that song ends already. | |

Don't give me it's who counts the vote BS, if you believe that we need you to volunteer at your local polling place because you can be the person counting the vote. I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw. We must all realize a sink a chair and a pillow are all luxuries of home and a soldiers helmet takes the place of all three. |

Quoting: Chrit I agree to a degree... I feel voting is formalities although the President is already chosen, but we should still vote because it's the right thing to do. |

I always find it amusing that when there is a republican in the White House everyone says, "get out and vote!" But when it's a democrat they say, "your vote doesn't matter." Ineptocracy- (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. |

Yep, both sides play the game rather well and make no mistake It is a political game; suppression and turn out are all part of it. Where I live in Ohio just over 550 voted in 2008 for the presidential election. At 1PM today over 550 had already voted, If the current numbers hold up looking at well over 1200 voters this election in my prescient. I know the people who count the votes in my area, they are my neighbors and friends and in general just plain good people on both sides. In a normal off year election maybe 200-250 vote. This year is going to be a new record for my tiny tiny town almost tripling the 2008 election numbers once you add in the absentee votes. With numbers like this nothing can be predicted, all the BS they feed you over the last few weeks just went out the door. I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw. We must all realize a sink a chair and a pillow are all luxuries of home and a soldiers helmet takes the place of all three. |
