ummm, The Spear of Destiny was WAY before medieval times.

Its recovery involved Gen George S Patton.

Makes me wonder whether it has any memory with in it or special powers, or was it just psychological?

The one that holds the Spear of Destiny, holds the fate of the world in their hands.

It is said that HItler did hold the Spear of Destiny at his time of power during the first half of the 1900s, the US then supposedly had it. There were rumours that it had been returned to Austria, however, Austria do not appear to be a world force to be reckoned with at the moment, therefore, if they do hold the Spear, it is likely to be a duplicate or a fake.

I suspect China has it now.

There are many other artifacts that are being searched for, which have significant, and supposed power. The Ark of the Covenant was one.

the spear of destiny was not used in any heroic endeavor, it is not like the sword of legend "Excalibur" for example. yet a sword is but a sword unless it is in the hand of the annointed, whereby it becomes an extension of the bearer of such.

it wouldn't do the lot of us much good, all things considered. there are no magic fixes for the mess we've gotten ourselves into, frankly.

perhaps the covetous could sell it for a buck or two, no doubt so. superstition reigns in the mind of... man.
