I watched the video above about the seals and this one caught my attention. 6:7 Then when the Lamb opened the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!” 6:8 So I looked and here came a pale green horse! The name of the one who rode it was Death, and Hades followed right behind. They were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill its population with the sword, famine, and disease, and by the wild animals of the earth. I thought the number of the earth's population to be destroyed was kind of interesting (a fourth). As of 2009, over 1.6 billion or about 23% of the world population are Muslims. [link to en.wikipedia.org] Could this possible point to a time in the near future when the world will no longer tolerate the Islam religion? Of course, these people don't just die from war, but also famine, disease, and wild animals. IF this does happen, the fact that famine, disease, and wild animals play a part does show that it's not just people killing people. The Bible DOES NOT say who the 25% will be, but in 1st Corinthians Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. (1 Corinthians 15:24-26 ESV) I consider Islam to be an enemy of God, but that's not what matters. God is the one who will decide who or what He considers to be His enemy and will put 'all his enemies under his feet.' Just have to watch history and see how it plays out. God is in control. |
