The most worrying and far-reaching danger of Iran developing nuke technology is not it's ability to actually deliver a viable nuclear device but it's potential willingness to sell nuke tech (including dirty bombs) to rogue terrorist states or factions. I don't think they would have any qualms whatsoever in doing that.

I'de say that Iran is probably THE most resposible country for owning nukes, it has an extremely good record for non-aggression, Iran hasnt invaded anyone in over 200 years unlike most nuke club members..

you dont have to invade when you can just sponsor terrorism (where do you think the nuke will go?)

I would worry about Israel more than Iran, Israel has done far more harm to the US than Iran ever has..

Iran is not stupid, it would be national suicide for them to use a nuke or pass one off to anyone else, besides, according to all of the inspectors and even the CIA and MOSSAD there is zero evidence of them producing a nuke, despite all of the propaganda.

i dont argue against any of those points.

but iran gaining nuclear weapons will create an arms race in the middle east and i think we can all agree that no one wants that.

Your right, thats why Israel should give up its nukes, i mean there isnt even any pressure on Israel to sign the NPT or have IAEA inspectors of which they refuse to do, hell, they wont even admit they have nukes, when in reality they are the third or fourth largest nuke power on the planet, as lomg as Israel behaves in this manner there WILL be a nuke arms race in the ME.

Also Israel has that little gem of a policy, "the samson option" where by they will nuke the rest of the world if they are in danger of going down (isnt that special)
