Yeah, this is all very telling indeed.

I genuinely didn't know until I'd heard DI bring it up. There was always conjecture to be found on TV shows, Mark Lamarr springing to mind on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, but at the time I thought it was just supposition because of him being involved with children, a very obvious and easy target for accusations of that nature.

But how wrong I was, it was all clearly true, and so much more that is clearly being revealed as the veil falls.

I grew up as a kid in the 70's / 80's with Savile on the TV on TOTP / Jim'll Fix It, the latter of which I always loved, and like many other kids wrote in. My request was to have a go with a metal detector lol. Thankfully I got my wish a few years later, courtesy of my Grandad and not Jimmy f'in Savile thank God lol.

But it's easy to see now looking back how obvious it is, I don't think it was so obvious for many of us who grew up watching him as innocent youngsters, so it has been a revelation for many.

Like many I have my own Savile story, I met him briefly as a 7 or 8 year old kid back in the late 70's. No prizes for guessing the location. Yep a school for disabled children. It was my sisters school, can't even remember what the specific event was, maybe the schools anniversary or something like that. He came and sat down right next to me, and made some crass remark to my Mum. Think she still has his autograph somewhere with the smiley face he used to do in the loop of his 'J'. Whether anything sinister went on that day or not, who knows, but thank God my sister and I were not victims.

Honestly, I'm beginning to think the depth and magnitude of this and it's wider scope, and who appears could be involved is bordering on absolutely apocalyptic, and not just for Great Britain, who most certainly is not Great any more.

Yeah, I've read figures that talk about hundreds of thousands of children every year, its beyond comprehension. Ideally, trouble is, at the moment the masses are not aware of the true scale of how bad all this is, many of which no doubt because of their own sheer blissful ignorance or having their attention diverted with X-Factor et al, and maybe some because they just close their eyes, ears and mind to it all, which in a sense, with the subject matter in question is partially understandable I suppose.

I have a feeling an absolute tidal wave of malaise is building though, and nothing will stop it.

Going back to the title of the thread, I heard in a news report that police brought him in for a questioning as the result of a tipoff.

I believe that whoever gave the tipoff knew Savile wasn't involved in the ripper murders but saw it as an opportunity to have Saviles life and movements looked at more closely - in the hope that the paedophilia might be picked up.

Just talking about experiences of meeting him, my sister was doing work experience at Leeds General in the late eighties (aged about 14 I think). Savile came up to her, asked her name and age, and generally creeped her out. I remember her telling us about it that night and being in awe that she met him, but not being able to equate that with how he had obviously made her feel! I think she had a lucky escape.

Also, my older sisters supervisor told her how he pierced her ear when she was a teenager in the seventies!

If they would have cut off the internet twenty years ago they might have had a chance at continuing the bullshit. They control information, that's it. They do it in such away to appear strong and powerful, but we know that now.

If the whole story is that these fucks are pedos, and that story breaks, people will be cleaning their own house. Having been lied to and manipulated for so long, they will be pissed and ready to take action.

I honestly don't see fighting in the streets. I think they compartmentalize all they're secrets, and when folks involved with them find out they've been had, woah buddy.

That kinda goes against what we're finding out about the culture surrounding this DJ guy in England, but never doubt the power of human denial. That's the biggest hump I think we have to clear.
