Special Forces and Navy Seals Head to Polls, Counter Black Panther Presence | |
| Jericho9 (OP) User ID: 4081722 11/06/2012 06:07 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Rather than celebrating this debacle of "protectionism" at the polls, we should be saying "WTF are they doing?" These "protections" of the polling place are not meant for special interests and ex-military to take charge of. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1044117 The damn individual States' Election Boards are supposed to ensure the safe environment where people can cast their vote without intimidation and coercion. Applauding the Seals for intervening is just feeding into the insanity. Holding the States accountable would be the first logical step. Logic. Hello, anyone seen Logic lately? I completely agree. One thing though, the military guys are not standing in front of the doors intimidating. They are at a distance observing and making sure the BP's are behaving themselves. Although not intimidating, they do serve as further distraction and unease at the voting facility. Those responsible for "safe and fair" elections need to get their asses to the plate now. Anyone not acting in the confines of the law need to be removed from those polling places. Which begs the question, why is this behavior so rampant in the country? The Black Panther who caused the stir last election is now back at the same polling place, but in an "official" capacity. Guess he's "changed" now, right? Why is all this being allowed to occur? It should have been corrected immediately. Even the voting process has collapsed beyond recognition. Easy answer...Eric Holder. |

Quoting: Steve8511 It's not raciest, it's just the way it is. I'm sure blacks will be mandated if this ever comes out. the burnt ones always get to take point. you need superhuman capabilities, initiative and drive to make the teams. |

Quoting: Botanator They are retired/former, not trying to discredit them in any way. And why aren't the police doing anything? You may be right. I just used the same title as the article. But a former elected and appointed officials are still called "Mr. President, Mr. Speaker, Congressmen, Mrs. Ambassador", etc. That's right. There are few schools/assignments in the military that work like that. Just ask a former or retired Marine they will definitely let you know. I'm the same way myself. Got it hammered into my thick skull. God bless those men! They will take care of everyone |

| s. d. butler User ID: 974819 11/06/2012 06:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Oh for crying out loud. Please get control of yourselves. Special Forces and Navy Seals? In Philly? For a few black guys in beanies that have every legal right to be there? People in Philly are tough as are their LEO. If these panthers are breaking the law there is no need for Special Forces or Navy Seals LOL. Again, FFS please get a fucking grip. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26997426 you must be kidding. Are you denying that voter intimidation by these people has happened in the past? No, I'm not. What I'm saying is voter intimidation is a crime. The Police can handle it if a crime occurs. Further I'm saying that folks in Philly aren't so easily intimidated. The notion of Navy Seals and Special Forces rusing in just seem a bit melodramatic in my eyes. But hey, that's just my opinion. Perhaps it is a bit melodramatic. Although I don't think the police handled it before. |
