No in MI. If you dont have ID .. you just have to sign an affidavid (sp) that you are who say you are.

It's when they require a SPECIFIC type of ID. Here in Ohio it's Drivers License, Utility Bill, Bank Statement....

No, no voter registration card either, North Carolina. It was my first time voting too so I was expecting to have to show my ID.

Gave em my voter Reg card, not sure if they looked at that though...wanted my DL, they scanned it, it checked out, then I was given a receipt to get a ballot...4 pager here in Fla...lol...

Yes here in Rhode Island. Showed my license, they matched it to their records and I had to sign a piece of paper certifying I am who I claim to be. Paper ballots, 3 of them, were then run through a machine and spat out the bottom where the poll worker put them in a lock box with wheels. Probably only whites were required to prove they are entitled to vote, because that would never be considered racial profiling.

Nope - Illinois, Land of Lincoln until Obama. I offered both my Driver's License and my voter reg. I was told you don't need it. As long as you are on the list.

My friend told me that her passport wasn't accepted in Pennsylvania. She knew with the current court ruling that she didn't have to but wanted to make sure she could use it in the future and was told that a passport isn't approved to be used as ID.

Why would a passport not be allowed as ID?

When I showed up to vote I was asked if I had id, I said yes, and then the poll worker asked me if she could see my id and I said no thank you. She gave me a little bit of a hassle, I informed her on the laws in pa and stood my ground, she called our county court house, and then she finally let me vote without my id.

Drivers license, signature, paper ballot, machine sucks it in, get your sticker, leave.

I love chelonians, which are turtles and tortoises. I can tell which is which by the patterns on their shells. I have a sulcata which is the 3rd largest species in the world. Indian star tortoises are kind of small, but mucho expensive. I plan on getting another sulcata as well as 2 Russian tortoises to go along with my leopard gecko. :) Sorry OP for being off topic lol.

I did here in Central Ohio. They even questioned me when my address on my ID didn't match my registration (didn't question my wife but she was behind me in line, so that's probably why).

Took 10 minutes to check in, vote, and get out.
