All you do is rant and rave about the current voting system but you offer no solutions or alternatives. Quoting: Artlicious
If we are all such mindless slaves when we vote, what would you suggest we do differently. Not voting is not going to change anything.. what will?
Even if in 2016 the voter turnout is half of what it was this year, I don't think that would change a damn thing. I don't think it would effect the election if only 1/3 of the normal voters turn out. (good luck trying to get that to happen, btw) Quoting: Artlicious
So what would make a difference?
Seriously.. how do we change the system? By not voting? ha! By voting.. ha! By becoming more politically active and possibly running for office.. maybe?
You think that it's just not voting. Not voting and deregistering, is just a first big step and alone can be a declaration of independence.
It's up to YOU to live on with the perennial spirit of independence.
Do what you can to live free of the government and not be a burden. First, try your best to avoid do anything that feeds the beast or makes it grow.
Live by the Golden Rule.
Live within your means. Help your fellow man directly and your fellow man will help you.
Don't call on executives a thousand miles away, call on your neighbors and have them call on you.
You don't do these things because
of government, you do it despite
government because you are free.
It's this true philosophy of Liberty and Independence that America was founded upon. If we don't live by it, we lose it to endless controlling contracts.
Don't talk to strangers and don't accept any candy from the executives riding around in a stolen white van and your life wont be kidnapped and held for ransom.
