In neighboring OK here we have many people of Lebanese heritage whose families have been here over a century. Also many naturalised Persians and their adult offspring. Your observation, however, makes it statically less likely that he was American. He didn't look American. I know that Americans are all from other countries, as we are a immigration rich country. It's getting harder and harder everyday to tell who is or is not an American. But he just didn't look American to me at all. It was everything about him, his walk, his facial features, just the general look of him. |

If I showed you a fish and asked you if that fish could do calculus, you would probably answer no. But the answer is only "probably no" not certainly. |

Quoting: *Evan* No, I'm just a little lady. He was much bigger than me. He was of a middle east decent for sure. That's strange, I saw a list of the proposed UN observers posted on GLP a few days ago, and none were supposed to come from middle eastern countries, it was all white eastern european countries. Anyway I hope this fine fellow served to encourage any undecided to vote for Romney who might actually stand up to the UN. We can only hope. I'm sure he didn't feel too comfortable with all of us just regular people turning our heads his direction. I wasn't the only one looking at him like, what the hell and who the hell are you and why are you here? There were several heads turning his direction. |

Quoting: alexisj9 Only thing worse than a UN soldiers is piece of shit Brit, I loved kicking the shit out of them in bars when I was stationed there... Haha Brits are such fagots! |

They were called in by the Dems to "prevent voter suppression". When they got to the polling places they reacted something like "You gotta be kidding - you don't ID them???". That's considered voter suppression in Europe! Ha |

The twin rotar helicopters are from Bell Helicopter located off the service road on I20. Quoting: Tex 20929967 Just saying. I'm used to seeing them, usually once maybe twice a week, but today a whole bunch... maybe just exercises, but in this crazy messed up world, with everything going to hell in a handbasket, leaves me a little worried that they are exercising soooooo much... If that makes any sense at all. |

I have lived here in this area since 1986, and have never, let me repeat, never seen a UN soldier here. I saw a bus load of them in VA about a year ago. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27166982 I wish they would just stop all the exit polling to start with. I mean really every person walking out of the polling event is telling the pollster the "truth" on who they voted for? I have never believed all the exit polling. |

Ha Quoting: Theobromine 19876247 I knew they were supposed to be here to "observe", but damnit, this is America, when have we had to have people "watching" us vote in the past. I always thought this was for foreign countries that were getting their first chance at electing their leader. And it is weird, this is the first time in my voting history that I haven't had to show my ID to vote. I was shocked!! |

I'm thinking people like where the "black panther" guy is standing there and the person really voted for Romney, but they are too frightened to say that, so they will lie and say they voted for Obama, even though they didn't. That is what I call voter intimidation. |

This isn't right, we shouldn't have any people from other countries here in military uniform. People are gonna cheat, they are gonna cheat with the UN guy standing there, like he's gonna know the difference. |
