Quoting: Leslie Zevo Eh, I don't picture the U.N soldiers being very intimidating...We have gangs here in california that could handle em.. But the UN isn't suppose to have boots on our ground, they are for peace keeping in other countries, we don't need peace keepers here in the DFW area. I agree |

Should they be here in Arlington, TX? what the heck is going on... and to top it off, we've had several of those twin blade hellicopters flying around all day today. I have probably seen at least 12. Quoting: KenTx2011 what it means is that just like how some countrys in north africa need the UN to check against fraud the USA needs it aswell... I cannot say for the rest of the DFW area, but what I can say that here in Arlington, Mansfield, Burleson, Kennedale have all been paper ballots... so no computer problems here. I was surprised when I got there to vote and saw the paper ballots. |

Obama loves the U.N I know, he even kind of kisses their butts too(AND I'm sure other stuff)... always asking their permission for whatever congress is against. Makes me sick to think about. |

That's what I was wondering. It's easy to find something worth dying for. Do you have anything worth living for? |

That means the UN person was cleared to carry OFF embassy which is very unusual. Oh!!! Well so I should be more concerned now? WOW!!! We don't need these guys here.Houston maybe, but not here. We don't ever have voter imtimidation or riots here. I sure don't want it to start, that is for sure. |

Ok, well thank you for explaining that. I was thinking I was saying it right. But another person on this thread was saying that it's highly unusual for them to have permission to carry off ambassy? International forces (Interpol, UN, Mounties, Etc) have to be cleared by the US to carry a gun outside your home embassy. So a Mountie can only carry a gun while on a Canadian Embassy, a UN soldier can only carry a gun at a United Nations site, or on land being occupied or where they are considered to be peacekeeping. Which means this UN soldier was overseeing something. Probably our voting system like they did with the voting systems in Africa and the EU. |

I really hope that this is nothing and just a random UN man in full dress just doing a little shopping and nothing else. |

In neighboring OK here we have many people of Lebanese heritage whose families have been here over a century. Also many naturalised Persians and their adult offspring. Your observation, however, makes it statically less likely that he was American. I Support Our First Responders |

That's strange, I saw a list of the proposed UN observers posted on GLP a few days ago, and none were supposed to come from middle eastern countries, it was all white eastern european countries. Anyway I hope this fine fellow served to encourage any undecided to vote for Romney who might actually stand up to the UN. |
