The outbreak north of Kruger National Park, which initially began in August, has killed dozens of hippos in the Letaba and Olifants Rivers recently. Park officials are closely monitoring the situation. “Members of the public are urged to report any sightings to the nearest camp and not to touch the carcases. The State Veterinarians are busy examining six carcases that were found over the weekend and will issue the results as soon as they’re available”, according to SANParks spokesperson, Reynold Thakhuli. Thakhuli said that anthrax is a natural occurrence in the area. Anthrax is caused by the bacterium, Bacillus anthracis. This spore forming bacteria can survive in the environment for years because of its ability to resist heat, cold, drying, etc. this is usually the infectious stage of anthrax. Even posts that are four days old with 20 pages of reply's. Maybe people could start putting the time they make the post that would be a lot more relevant. Monsanto, Dow and DuPont gotta keep making the profits. And really it's only about profit and control. |

Look what I found ~ dated today ~ Sudan: Darfur Citizens - Government Secrecy About Yellow Fever Darfur — Citizens from Central, West and South Darfur complained about the secrecy of the government of Sudan regarding information about the spread, level of incidence and cause of the yellow fever, Radio Dabanga has learned on Monday 5 November. They also denounced the scarcity of medicines, vaccines, preventive guidance and ambulances for citizens in the most affected regions. In addition, residents demanded that governors of Darfur declare the region a 'disaster area'. What you perceive to be is your reality. I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours. |

So far as the root this person above mentioned, I looked it up, and it does sound good. Amazing how many herbs are out there we never here of, unless someone throws out a name. I'll have to look for the root form. These are just as good and safer than drugs, and I'm always trying to add to my med closet. That sounds like a great job! |
