attention CANADIANS: Romney or Obama? | |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 12590382 11/06/2012 09:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If I was in America right now, I'd either write in Ron Paul, or throw my vote by wiping my ass with the ballot. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12590382 yup me too Helllloooooo???? Gary Johnson 2012. Have you even heard of him? He basically stands for all the same things Ron Paul did, but not under the Republican banner but rather as a Libertarian. See, not enough people even know who he is. They think Ron Paul or bust, and that is just what Obam-ney are counting on. Actually no, I haven't heard of him, been so caught up in the lesser of two evils thing. I'll look him up. But then again, not like it matters much, seeing as how I can't vote in US elections. |

Quoting: amachiavellian Based on what you've seen, your gut, your uncle ... whatever. If you had a vote, how would you cast it? (could some kind hearted Canadian Poll this thread? I think it would be interesting.) Why only offer two options when there's more? Are you stupid? Let me guess, last Canadian election you assumed there was only 3-4 parties to choose from too? |

The last time my relatives took their time and money to vacation over there in Canada, was the last time they will ever go back again. They came across nothing but stuck up, no good Canadians who acted like they were better than anyone else. Nothing but, nasty, uncalled for comments from strangers, that had no business even saying anything to friendly perfect strangers. You people over there have a freakin attitude problem! After that experience, I would never spend MY vacation dollars there. It's pretty much worthless, boring, weird, and ugly there anyway. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12938724 Heh, wow your not naive at all. Nothing up here? Heh, just all the resources in the world, more than any country, yah you don't need us. If only we had a government that wasn't americanized. If only we didn't have a country to the south constantly interjecting themselves into other countries affairs. If only we didn't have to listen to the constant boisterious, beligerent neighbours to the south always shouting U-S-A! We can dream, but the sad reality of it all is that we are all slaves. Make fun of Canada, make fun of any country, because it is irrelevant. Our countries have no more sovreignty so why bother voting, or believing in any government? Money is the government and we are probably lucky that we get the measly little bit of help we do, otherwise there would have been riots a long time ago. |
