That's right. People are sadly misinformed to believe the president is really so important. SC has the true power, along with the puppet-masters behind the scenes. Prez is a title and occupation of an office.

There are far greater ways for a citizen to care and be involved in life on this planet . . . the kind of involvement that matters and counts for something, that can actually make a positive impact in small ways in their own lives and for this planet.

Look at it this way:

Politics is like a bad Hollywood movie.

You have the producers funding and organizing.

You have the directors pulling the strings and calling the shots.

You have the actors playing the roles.

And the sheeple are the audience, lined up, willing to pay whatever the ticket costs for a production that is overpriced and offers nothing worthwhile.

And when they leave the "theater", they are a little poorer and their lives have not be enriched in any way.

It's not that people wanted Obama back, but Romney scares them: he doesn't want to release his tax returns, people think he will enlarge the gap between the rich and the poor, he's a proponent of offshoring and outsourcing jobs to China, he's a mormon, made a huge error about the 47% of the electorate, talks about his fleet of cars...he dug his own grave.
You're talking about how the USA will lose, i am more concerned about his intentions with Israel. I don't think however that he's the antichrist (something which was said on other threads).
