Every time the Lakers make it to the NBA finals prior to an election year a Republican takes office, however if the Lakers fail to make the finals prior to an election year a Democrat will take office..This year the Lakers did not make it to the finals which means Obama will be the president for the next 4 years..

I did notice that but it said the Laker rule is the most reliable..I am personally an independent and do not care about either candidate, but it does look like an Obama victory is likely

In 2008, you could have stated, "I would no doubt put my money on a bet with a 100% chance of return" and still have been wrong.

Just because you can statistically loose a bet doesnt mean it is a bet that isnt worth taking

the redskins rule is 17 for 18... either way i don't care who wins but the better "record" here does go to the Redskins.
