if they do pass. in the near future the states will begin to make money off it as in taxes. this will led to other states to legalize weed and tax it. crime rates drop. money made. perhaps the feds will allow the choice to be state to state. it's a win win for all parties.   I agree it will be the catalyst that causes the rest of the states to legalize. One can compare it to how consumer fireworks became legal for most of the country. Back in the 1970's very few states allowed their use today there's only 4 states that continue the ban. It will be the same with Marijuana
