Dear Republican Party, this is what happens when you treat your Ron Paul supporters like shit

You didn't learn in 2008.

Then, the Tea Party rose, driven by the libertarian wing. Instead of embracing it, you co-opted it, driving away its passionate founding population and replacing it with traditional Republican voters. You still had enough momentum to do well in the mid-terms, so instead of learning what drives the passion of the libertarian wing, you kicked it right in the ass.

Then, as the 2012 race began, you noticed a libertarian, Ron Paul wing enflamed with passion. Despite its past mistreatment, those voters loyally followed RP under the (R) banner. Rather than learning and embracing these voters, you sent out your pack of howling pundits to ridicule and misrepresent his policies. You treated the only innovative and original voice in the presidential pack as an annoyance.

Then, you had an unhappy populace looking for a reason to get excited, and you gave them warmed-over Reagan-lite served without an ounce of passion. You continued to throw the occasional bone to RP voters, treating them like just another of your dumbass interest groups that will happily sit up for a plate of meager promises.

Then, you were dealt the most favorable hand imaginable in 2012- shitty economy, leftist policies, and you still fucked it up. An election that should have been a triumph is a disaster.

And the missing ingredient for your party's moment of triumph? All those libertarians you treated like so much dogshit for the last two years.

We walked away, and as much as we loathe Obama's policies, as least with the Democratic party, our enemies attack from the front rather than stabbing us in the back.

The Republican party of the last three decades is dead. You can continue stumbling on, zombified, as our country drowns under a slow drip of socialism, or you can WAKE THE FUCK UP, and give the libertarians a chance in the driver's seat.

Way to go, douches!!!! I can't wait until I'm old and the fucking STATE (elitist bureaucrats) decide whether I live or die. Not to mention a totalitarian, centralized government. I have friends who are so-called 'Libertarians'. No more. They are nothing more than Trojan Horses.

I was never going to vote Republican. I was going to vote for Obama if they didn't put up Ron Paul.

As it was, I voted for Johnson.

It was not a vote stolen from anyone because Romney never had my vote anyway.

For some reason Republicans think that ALL Ron Paul supporters WOULD have voted for Romney IF ONLY they'd fell in line.

A LOT of us were never in that crazy line anyway.

Hold on we played by the rules which were broken by the GOP at the Romney circle jerk convention. Perhaps if those rules were not broken Obama would not of gotten 4 more years. Republicans sold this country out by their own actions. I'm proud to have voted for Rob Paul.

Hopefully you Republicans have learned you're lesson, sadly it might be the last.
