How did he win?


He appealed to most voters. I like this site, but it is not representative of the United States electorate. In fact, I would say that there are more conservative users than there were when I first started looking at this site a few years ago. So what goes on at this site is far from what goes on in mainstream America.

Also, I think many Obama voters just don't have the time or resources to attend campaign rallies.


I also think a lot of people voted for him because he was the lesser of two evils.

I think if Romney hadn't tried to appease the far right so much he might have won. Then again he might not have been the GOP nominee.

You don't get it. He ran a modern, virtual, futuristic, electronic, social media campaign just like he did last time.

Physical presence doesn't count. It's all virtual.

During Hurricane Sandy I know people who got a personal message from Obama on their iPhones and Androids saying something like "Hi Cynthia, this is Barack Obama and I hope you are safe and sound during this hurricane. Here is some important information you will need in the coming days, etc. etc.".

He did this on a massive scale and it worked.

The melting arctic caused a blocking high, the rest is history.

they target groups

they target African Americans , Latinos , illegals from Mexico, of course other liberals, the Elderly by scaring them, the Unions , the youth vote , the Jewish vote

They do things for Latinos and blacks......they give them welfare and entitlements ...and that hurts our economy

They do actually do something for illegals....they help them to break laws and stay here

They actually do things for unions but these things hurt our economy

Of course they do everything they can to help fellow liberals ....and this destroys our economy and the moral fabric of america

I have absolutely no idea why Jews vote for liberals....liberals hate Israel and love Muslims

they do nothing for the elderly that republicans don't do ....yet somehow they are able to convince them that the republicans wanto take away their Medicare


In contrast ....republicans targert hard working people who want to pay low taxes and keep America strong morally ....and that percentage of people is getting smaller and smaller and that's about it ....

republicans don't targert ethnicities ....they just target people who want to succeed financially and live the American dream and that no longer can win elections ...

So my prediction is that republican will never win the presidency again....if a republican cant win in a election like this where the economy is in complete shambles then they will never win...

I could see a libertarian winning before a republican wins
