The American people have no idea who won because of vote fraud, which has been an institution as American as apple pie since the 1800s. No one actually counts the vote. They(tm) have the media put on a show about exit polls, candidate X in the lead or not, etc., and they simply announce X is the winner. Things are whatever the media says they are. People believe whatever they see on TV if it's presented as "news".

I do not know a single person who voted for Obama. People I talked to during the day were more than happy to announce that they voted for Romney.
