But people don't even know what freedom means anymore. All they want is for the government to be their daddy. Case closed. They want things to stay the way they are. Look up what Catherine Austin Fitts has to say about this matrix we are living in. They'd rather give up freedom for a check... any kind of check. Schools have ruined the kids and don't even teach our rule of law anymore. |

TRUE "conservatives" are Barry Goldwater and Ron Paul. They are NOT Rush Limbaugh, George Bush, Sean Hannity. Words mean things. Even Mr. Limpballs says so. Conservative means the federal government takes the LEAST action possible in order for society to operate. That means if someone is gay, the government doesn't get involved. That means if someone wants to burn a flag, the government can't tell you you can't burn a piece of cloth. That means the government can't institute affirmative action. That means government can't promote religion. That means if someone chooses to ingest a substance into his/her own body, the government can't prohibit them from doing so. And conversely, there are some things that government IS there for, and should not be privatized. Examples are prisons and the military. If you privatize prisons, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that the prison lobby will lobby for more prohibitive laws, so they can get more inmates (profit). This is not beneficial to society. And if the military (or large parts of it) are privatized, wars will not be fought out of necessity, but for profit. See: Blackwater and its CEO, Eric Prince, a huge donor to the Republican Party; hence getting the lion's share of American contracts in Iraq under George W. Bush's war on Iraq begun in 2003. Agree with this 100%. As a Ron Paul supporter, and Gary Johnson voter, I cannot identify with either of these candidates. |
