So I am completely ignorant when it comes to Obamacare and have a few questions for somebody that knows what they are talking about.
If employers will be required to provide health insurance for full-time employees, will that still hold true for employees who are full-time and covered under a spouse's policy?
An example would be a military spouse working a full-time job. They would be 100% covered by Tricare. If they didn't have to supply health insurance would it not be more beneficial for employers to hire people already covered by somebody elses insurance policy?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12637870 They have to make it "available". You don't have to take it. And you will pay the full premium, so it doesn't matter to them if you take it or not. And they have to make it "affordable". So the solution will be for companies to have two options. One will be a crap policy with a super high deductable that doesn't cover anything. That one will be "affordable". Then they will offer a decent policy (like we are used to now) and that one will cost you an arm and a leg and your first born son.
