As An American, I Want The World To Know
This is NOT what I wanted.

I am appalled at my countrys' face on this planet. I am embarrassed for her behavior and haughty attitude.

You people in foreign lands must really think we are all like what you see on TV and hear about in the media.

We are not all like those things.

We are honorable, kind, hard working and honest. We are devoted to God and family with honest work on our hands.

Our politicians run us...and we are under their thumb regardless of the power we have to replace them with others with higher integrity.

My apologies to the world...for we are a shameful nation, many of our people are exactly what you see on TV and the media. But you have not met the 'other' many. We are the ones you'd love to know. We are the friend, the heart and soul, the truth of our selves. We maintain a high sense of integrity.

The election reults are a result of a collective of negative thinking. I personally cannot help what these beings do. But for the rest of us, we wish to live in peace and harmony.

Just so you know World. There are good Americans.

If only I could stop crying for the demise of my once beautiful country.

So now, just WHAT do we do now...?

Run to bunker?
Don't have one.

Buy gold and silver?
How...I don't make any more money today than I did yesterday.

Stock food and other goods?
Why, so the government can confiscateit?

Leave the country?
Where to....? Where is Shambala?

Stand and fight back?
You can't fight 'city hall".

Punch somebody?
Hmmmmmm naw. Not right either

personally speaking YOU are the embarrassment to your country, you take it upon yourself to apologize for your entire country. You attempt to point out that your countries people are "honorable, kind, hard working and honest" as if these were trait of only Americans and not humanity in general. "We are devoted to God" Is another thing that the rest of the first world laughs at. Your pathetic over emotional reaction to the election results make it seem like you have zero trust in your fellow man.

"The election reults are a result of a collective of negative thinking. I personally cannot help what these beings do. But for the rest of us, we wish to live in peace and harmony." As if Gitt Romney was a peace loving pacifist?

Even if your worst fear were to come true what do you have to loose? cheer up, stiff upper lip and stop with the negative thinking because; Is life worth living, if your living in fear?

Mexico...yeah, whudda thunk it?

On a positive note: the upcoming crash will happen faster and therefore will not be prolonged as it would have with Romney. Romeny would have instilled a false sense of security for a short while, but the two candidates are both puppets for the Masters of the Corporate and Bankster regime.

Just thinking out loud....

Where to turn.....what to say, how to carry on.....

Or to just sit i silence.

Op, your post is so true. You are one of many of us. I'm so sad today. Very sad. I'm not of this world any longer. I'm tired. We lost the battle.

I guess all we can do is humble ourselves before God and allow his will to be done.

You are what America is about. The greatness of this country is people like you!

God is still in control and that is all that matters.

Peace and love to you OP hf

I find that the sense of honor, hard work and integrity in other culturesa is very important and high priority for them. I love that about them.

I find folks here in my country declare a sense of self entitlement. We have masses that make welfare their way of life and bring their children up to follow this path. We have people recognising a good leader by the cell phone they got from him....that's what I am refering to as the basis bor my embarrassment. And lots of other similar things.

We are not all like that. I for one am not.

Your points are well taken.

I used to travel in the US quite a bit, but not any more, even my bank warned me that the US is a "high risk" country.

From my personal experience I agree with you that most Americans are good honest people, it's just that I also find Americans today very different. Apathetic comes to mind, and OP you also reflect that.

Why are Americans just accepting all that is happening? What happened to "land of the brave, home of the free?" Why are Americans giving up their freedoms daily? When did they start believing that helping each other was "socialist" but that paying the way for companies and politicians wasn't?

I think the real problem in America is that you all just throw up your hands and say dumb things like you can't fight city hall whereas you used to rise up together and stop things like ....say....the Vietnam war. Those were the Americans the world respected and envied. Quit apologizing for your country and go join forces with those who would reclaim it

Finally, a kindred spirit. Thank you.

I was raised in the 60's in a world where prosperity was abundant (but we were very poor),.... and the 70's were inspirational. We had things to look forward too. The eighties were the years of womens careers, and the 90's were the same, but with more technology to make the career-world more attractive. The millenium brought a sense of 'something' shifting. And you all know what I mean.

And today, we just got bitch-slapped.

Don't worry after the lying scumbag Powell lied about WMD's and terrorists in Iraq or the costly invasion of Afghanistan (while only like 1/10th the number of people died in 9/11 then die yearly in DUI crashes) the world DOES NOT WANT conservatives in power in the US.

That being said it's unfortunate that Obama still does drone assassinations, still has Guantanamo open, still hasn't withdrawn from Afghanistan and hasn't cleaned up wallstreet (not that we are much better in that regard over here in Europe :S) but on all these issues Romney would actually still be worse then Obama.

Re: As An American, I Want The World To Know
To me it seemed that 90% of the rest of the world wanted the election result you gave them, so what's to apologize for? The world did not want Romney at the hands of the most dangerous military power on the planet.

Obama isn't much better, but at least we've seen how he operates and feel certain we can survive four more of that. Mitt on the other hand made it clear to all he could not be trusted with this power.

He may have been good for America, but as outsiders we really only worry about what is good and bad for the planet, and Mitt's foreign policy sound bytes from his campaigning quickly put him in the bad batch.

I guess the say 60% that didn't write Romney off because of him being a Mormon, simply saw him as a man who would walk into a diplomacy meeting with his fists raised.

I can't remember exact figures, but typically the Democrats do not get 90+% support over Republicans even in the communist bastion, currently under a heavy capitalistic right wind. Even the progress party here who tries to sort of be republican socialists, didn't speak warm about Romney. There were a few selected exceptions, but their bilderberger party leader had an unusual low profile. Perhaps she didn't want any Romney inspired questions ahead of our own elections....

So yeah no apologies needed. There wasn't a need even when you gave Bush a second term in my opinion, but it was given and accepted then, and so when history repeats your apology for giving Obama a second term is forgiven too.
