Riots started! with those Pasok members absent, and the 'present' vote, will it still pass? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19209502 Barely, but probably yes. Absent/present is tricky coz it doesn't count as a no, it just reduces the number of MP's. Last Edited by insertfunnyusername on 11/07/2012 04:08 PM |

Riots started! Greek MP's average salary got reduced too by 492 euros to 5000 euros per month. Quoting: insertfunnyusername They only get 5000€ per month for sitting around and selling Greece's future off. Those poor bastards. Someone should put them out of their misery. :hangem: Some get more, but Greek politicians also don't pay for housing if they are not from Athens, free travel tickets, free phone bills, 105 euros for every extra session, 1000 for postage expenses ![]() |

They dont even pretend to work there. They just get there in the morning write their name on some paper and then get fully paid for that day. Then they fly back home on tax payers expense. These scumbags get everything for free and drink champagne while the normal person actually has to pay for their bullshit. |

That's not counting the corrupt contracts with various foreign and Greek companies. |

Riots started! I actually can understand that the leader of the government has to earn good money, they actaully do something every day. But most members of parliament just raise their arms and vote when needed. They do almost nothing thats worth paying for. |
