Fire has broken out on the streets of Athens as violent clashes continue between protesters and police in front of the Greek Parliament. Demonstrators are throwing Molotov cocktails. Police have responded by using water cannons, teargas, and batons.

“Protesters are fighting a running battle…It’s an Athens urban warzone…I can barely see,” Oliver said.

"There are huge flash bangs near Syntagma Square…protesters are chanting for bread and freedom. They're accusing Greece of being a dictatorship," he continued.

Police are trying to move demonstrators away from banks near the square.

I think they will pass, but it is not a bold majority vote, very far from the 180 votes required by the Greek constitution, next govt will be able to cancel the measures and the memorandum's in the first day, they have the backing up of the law and the constitution to do such a thing.
