Last night was just as ordinary as any other. We went to sleep around 10., he wasn't drinking or drunk, he didn't really even drink many fluids last night. We went to bed the same as every night. This morning the alarm went off and i rolled over to turn it off and there was very noticeable, large wet area surrounding my husband. It was clearly urine from the look and oder. He woke up when the alarm went off. He got up and went to take a shower. We didn't talk about it at all and went through our morning like nothing happened. Now I'm stripping the sheets to put fresh ones on and the smell won't come out of the bed. We've been married for 5 years and this has NEVER been an issue before. I'm afraid to bring it up or ask him if he's ever had problems before this but I'm afraid I'll embarrass him. Advice? Please?! everybody in america did last night. thinking of four more years before they can find a decent job. |

Over our 22 year marriage my husband has been "piss drunk" twice (thought he was was watering the garden with a garden hose once ?? lol), and he cleaned up after himself both times regardless of how embarrassed he was. You NEED TO TALK TO YOUR HUSBAND!! Find out if: He is having trouble peeing such as; Holding it Feeling the urge to pee often Flow disruption Prostate problems do very often effect men as young as in their 20's. You need to bring this up and find out how long he has been experiencing these issues and make him an appt. With a urologist. NOT your family MD. THIS IS NOT A UTI ( urinary tract infection) as he would suffer severe burning while peeing and he would most surely let you know. I have seen many pt's reporting these type of problems ( bed wetting) when they have an enlarged prostate. The longer he lets it go, the worse it will get so dont be afraid to bring it up. He may appreciate the fact he didnt have too. Just suggest to him perhaps it would be a good idea to have his prostate checked. Best of Luck! He just turned forty-two. The most recent was about three days ago. He acts as if it's no big deal as well. I don't know if it's related or not, but mine has a HORRIBLE case of snoring and sleep apnea. ~Pandora~ |
