The ones burning Obama signes today are the grandchildren of the ones burning crosses of yesterday. The country keeps moving forward from yesterday into a more equitable society, more inclusive.
Romney and the Republicans ran the last race for office the "old school" republican way. They can no longer win with just the white vote, those days are now over, thank God.
Republicans will not only be willing to come to the table on imigration, they'll be early, sitting up straight, with their pencils sharpend.
The same goes for their stance on ObamaCare, debt reduction, higher taxes on the rich etc..
Eric Cantors state (VA) has voted Democrate two times in a row now. If he doesn't change his far right views, he won't be re-elected in two years.
Hate is no longer a winning strategy.
