Do a search on islam-mormonism they have similar beliefs. A few years ago I saw a news item that the mormons had approached the mohammedan leadership for an alliance based on this. I would not be surprised to hear that the election was rigged on this basis from the start.

The Wal-Mart Greeter yesterday made comment on my I voted sticker. I asked where was his. He told me he was voting when he got off. He said, "It's my Christian duty to vote". It's a kind of crazily divisive political system you have over there, really. Two parties, mired in outdated historical bias, almost splitting the country down the middle so that you end up with this awful, racist, bigoted, abusive, idiotic rhetoric - the commentary I have seen on this site over the last couple of weeks has been repulsive - and this sets brother against brother, in the most obnoxious of manners. I'm certain that true multi-party politics and proportional representation would produce a far higher standard of political debate and engagement. It's mostly jingoism versus stump-thumping the way it is now, at least as far as i can see.....
